Who are we?
 
These properties are owned by Columbia Concrete Company, INC located in Columbia, Tennessee. Columbia Concrete consists of the heirs of the late Glenn Hulen. Mr. Hulen was a civil engineer by trade, but a true visionary from the first day he arrived in Columbia to begin his professional career. In 1962, he started a ready-mixed concrete business that he named Columbia Concrete Company, INC. In 1967 he began the Architectural Precast Division of his business. This is when he purchased the land that he planned to develop as the, yet officially named, By-Pass East Industrial Park. He operated the ready-mixed and precast divisions until 1995. The following is a brief synopsis of the next few years in Glenn Hulen’s development of the Industrial Park:
1995 – Sells the Ready-mixed division
1995 - Builds a Convenience store
1996 – Sells the Precast Division
1996 – Builds a True Value hardware store
1997 – Brings in a Portable Garage Manufacturer
1998 – Brings in a large engine repair shop
 
Mr. Hulen operated the hardware store until his untimely death in 2000. In 2006 the Hulen family decided to close the doors on the hardware business to concentrate on completing the Industrial Park that Glenn Hulen had envisioned. The businesses currently operating in the Industrial Park are:
